Diagnosis Made!!!!
Well, I am NOT crazy. My boys truly were sick. They were sick with something AND now I know the name of that something---it's ROTAVIRUS!!! Gabriel tested positive and we figured what one had, they all had... But the good news is they appear to be over it. It usually lasts for 4 weeks, which it did for us. The boys have been symptom free now for over a week!! I am so thankful. My prayers have certainly been answered. Thanks to all of you who prayed for us.

THAT'S A WINNER!!
Congrats to the Cards! No, the end wasn't pretty, but we won our home opener! The game started off great I thought, with the crowd singing the National Anthem (good touch). Willie McGee's appearance was enough to elate the already crazy crowd. A couple of home runs and great plays. Here's to Mulder for pitching a great game and getting Busch's first curtain call for his first ever home run. Jack Buck would have been proud. It was a good day for the Cards. And this Cardinal fan is happy baseball has started once again! Welcome to baseball heaven.

Crackers in bed

While the term crackers in bed usually applies to an annoyance of some kind, this Momma was thrilled to have her boys fill the bed with crumbs!!!! Kaden has been lethargic ALL day but perked up a little when I said he could watch a movie in Mom's room. He actually asked for a cracker, his first food since Tuesday! I was thrilled. So there they are, eating in bed. And here's a Mom with a little hope that her middle boy is getting better.
(Baby update: Gabriel is still pretty weak today, just wants to lay down all the time. Poor angel, he has not eaten since Tuesday either, thank goodness for Pedialyte!!!)

A Day in the Life...

A day in the life of --------- fill in the blank. It could be Luke, Kaden, or even Gabriel. (okay not really, he still gets a bucket) I had to take this picture of poor Kaden-man. I think this really shows how awful my boys feel. Yep, still sick. Luke is showing no symptoms right now, but Kaden and Gabriel are barely hanging on. Kaden got worse again today, he can hardly get off the couch. He is so tired all the time. Gabriel can't even sit up right now. He just folds himself right over. They are both so weak. Bless their bones. Any prayers would be more then appreciated. I know that there will be an end to all of this, I just pray and pray that it comes sooner then later. It is absolutely breaking my heart to see my babies so sick. 26 days and counting...

Michael ANAKIN would be SOOOOO proud

Luke Thomas is sure one in a million. He is still sick, bless his heart. He was going to bed tonight, to sleep with Mom again, and wanted to watch The Empire Strikes Back. Well, that's enough to make Daddy proud right there, huh?! It got to the end where Vader and Luke are fighting and Luke called me into the room. He said in all seriousness "Why am I fighting Darth Vader when I get bigger?" He cracks me up. I would love to see how his little mind works. I had to share this quote. Michael would have loved it! (And yes, he did hold the mask while watching the movie.)

WE SAW DADDY!!!!!!!
YEAH, we saw Daddy...and Grandma, and Uncle James, Aunt Belva, Cousins Logan and Aurora! We made the LONG trip to Oklahoma to see Daddy while he was there for a few days. This was the only chance for him to get to see the kiddos and while this trip is as crazy as crazy can be, it has been well worth it!!!! Just to see the look on the kids faces when they saw their Dad was well worth the 23 1/2 hours of driving it took us to get to him!!!!!! We love you and miss you so much Daddy! It was great to get hugs and kisses!! I will get to Michael again over Easter weekend, the kiddos are staying in St. Louis and I am flying to Vegas!! I am counting down the days!! Only 23 more!!
Alright here is the fast version of the "fun" we have had on our trip, the trip that was suppose to end yesterday back in Florida, but we are still in St. Louis waiting to go home:
Friday (10th) Uncle Don flew to Florida to help me make the 13 hour drive to St. Louis. All's well.
Saturday--We start! 3 hours down the road, a flat tire, 4 tires and new brakes later (YES, SERIOUSLY) we are driving again. Took us about 15 1/2 hours to get to Grandmom's house.
Sunday--Day at Grandmom's!
Monday--Day at Grandmom's, the FUN begins. Luke starts throwing up! Kaden joins in a couple hours later.
Tuesday--SUPPOSE to be driving to Uncle James/Aunt Belva's house to see Daddy... We are not. The kids are still recovering.
Wednesday--Driving day to Oklahoma. Daddy calls us, he is at the hospital sick as a dog!! Are you kidding me? But we got to see him and the rest of the fam.
Thursday--All is going pretty well, fun to be with family.
Friday--Luke starts throwing up! Yep, again. This time it's Gabriel that joins in. Oh the fun. And Mommy get sick, just another cold but enough to wipe me out!
Saturday--Daddy is leaving, we are going back to St. Louis. Luke starts with the other end, you know what I mean, I don't have to type it. The big D. But we make it to Grandmom's.
Sunday--4:30 AM Kaden starts the vomiting party. In the afternoon, Luke and Gabriel start the D, both of them. Oh yes, and right before bedtime, Luke throws up everything he has eaten in the past 2 months I think!
Monday--it's Monday now, we are supposed to be in Florida or at least DRIVING there and we are NOT. Kaden still looks terrible but hasn't gotten sick yet (KNOCK ON WOOD) and Luke and Gabriel had no fun through the night (thank goodness).
As I am writing this, I am trying not to get upset. I certainly don't understand why this visit had to contain all this sickness. We have certainly had our fair share this year already. But I am more then thrilled that I got to see Michael, I miss him so much.
And I want to say THANK YOU to Grandma. She stayed with all 5 grandkids, not once, but twice so us parents could go out together!!! So THANK YOU and THANK YOU to her. We love you Grandma!!!!
I will put some pictures up soon!! There were so many good times through all the sickness. Family is a wonderful blessing. And we are utterly, utterly blessed.
And last but not least, here is thank you to those in St. Louis that have come to visit us in our short venue here, our family is the best!!!!!!
I will keep you updated. Take care and HERE'S TO GOOD HEALTH!!!!!!!!!!!

Silly Baby :)

After taking out all the trucks, you know--the ones Mommy just put away, Gabriel decided the entertainment center would be a good place to sit and play. How cute is this kiddo? That smile gets me every time. Daddy is hardly going to recognize him when he sees him NEXT WEEK!!!!! I just had to share this picture!
