Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow

No, not really, I don't want any snow, but that was a cute title for my post, right?  Here are the kiddo pics in our snowman cut out at school during the PTA Christmas Store.  Adorable!

Aww, sweet faces!  More Christmas catch up coming soon.  :)

Party like it's 2009!

On a warm, sunny, 60 degree Sunday in December we went to party.  A friend of Michael's daughters birthday party to be exact.  It was at one of those inflatable party places.  We had such a fun time!  All 4 boys had a great time running around and racing through the obstacle course inflatables.  Josie was NOT interested at all in the bounce houses but did enjoy the little toddler area.  At the end of the party we did get her in the little mini-bouncer that had the play balls.  It took a lot of work but we eventually got her in there!  I of course took LOTS of fun pics.  Enjoy :)

Date Night!!!

While we were home in STL Michael and I made it a point to have a double date night with my cousin Melanie and her beau Leon. We had a great time! Thanks goes to my Momma for watching the kiddos. We met at Kobe, a Japanese steakhouse. Neither Mel nor Leon had ever been to one and we knew they would like it! :) Afterwards we went to see Sherlock Holmes, I LOVED it! I smuggled in mint chocolates. Yum! What a fun night and what a great couple. We love you guys! :)

(I'm so so so so so so sorry about the red eyes. For some reason my photo shop isn't working and I can't fix it. Sorry! I'll fix it when I can!)

New year, new dedication to blogging!

My Mom will be SO thrilled! I have been such a bum blogger. I just got a little lazy and a little frustrated with blogger. I used to be able to click and drag pictures and put them where I wanted to. Nice and easy. But then blogger didn't let me do that anymore and to get the posts the way I wanted to I had to go into the html part and cut and copy the pictures and post them throughout my writing. That made each post take 5x as long. I lost interest. I think I have found the answer and hope it works! (Update--it didn't work, I'm irritated but I'll get this done!)
So here we are at the start of 2010 and I made a promise to keep up my blog better. That way Grandmas, Aunts, Uncles, and friends can stay updated on our kiddos. I know that is who you're checking on :) Here we go:
Basketball season once again. Kaden and Luke are playing Upward Basketball at our church, they are able to be on the same team :) Yay! And this year we are blessed because my nephew has joined them! All 3 on the same team. Awesome. Go Cavaliers! We had our first practice last night and they did great! (Josie---not so much!) Here are some pictures of the kids, notice I did not say good pictures of the kids. They are bad quality but still cute :)
Passing drills:
A quick pic of when Josie was actually where she was supposed to be and NOT crying.
Shooting practice:

Gabriel ran around the track a couple times during the end of practice. He stopped for a quick wave to Mom:
Here's to the start of a new season, a new year, and new posts :)

Turkey Day!

I know, I know. I said that I was going to keep up my blog. I said that I was not going to let it get away from me. I'm still trying. Promise.
Here's a quick post for you all that have missed them:

Kaden had a turkey come home from school. We were supposed to be creative and decorate it. We came up with the idea for an American flag turkey and it turned out ADORABLE!!! K-man did a great job cutting and gluing! He took it to school this morning, I am excited to hear what his teacher thought of his turkey!

K-Man, Hawaiian style

Kaden sang last night at school. He did such an excellent job! All the kiddos did. We first grade parents were quite thrilled! It's so fun to see all the pride on the parents' faces as they watch their babies!! Here are Kaden's many, many pics:
The state fish of Hawaii, the Humuhumukununukuapua, as colored by Kaden:
They sing a song about this fish and both Luke and Kaden can say it perfectly!
Michael ran both and schools' and our video camera:
Josie took this picture of her brothers while we waited for the performance to start:
Here is a video of the first song. The weren't singing as much as dancing. Pretty darn cute! I do have more videos but blogger will not load them. I promise, Momma, I will try again soon! Enjoy!!! Kaden's face is TOO adorable!

Big Girl Bed

Yesterday it became official. No more babies in the Harmon household...Josie is out of the crib and in her new Castle Bed! She was SO excited as Michael and I put it together. We had her try it out and she loved it, Josie hardly left her room yesterday evening! When it was time to go to bed she wasn't so sure. She played with the nightlight and kept putting more and more dolls and animals in her bed. She cried a little and I'm not sure what that was about. I found Josie in the hallway about 30-45 minutes later. I told her to go back to bed and she did. I don't know when she went to sleep but when I checked on her at 9:30 she was OUT like a light. This morning she came bounding out of her room VERY proud of herself. "I nigh-night Momma" she told me. Very proud. Goodness she is the sweetest thing! Here are a ton of pics I took, and yes Thaddeus I know they are basically the same but she is too beautiful not to post them all :)
Getting in for the first time:
"Smile Josie!"
Hold on, Mom's got to pull your hair back out of your face. "Smile again Josie!"
Daddy took this one:
It's time to get into bed, Luke wanted to help tug her in:
Happy Josie Claire:
Wait, I need some more stuff in bed with me. Come on WALL-E:
And here's a pic of Gabriel for good measure!
