Luke's B-day Parties

On Luke's actual happy birthday we drove from OKC home to STL. Grandmom was ready for him and had chocolate cupcakes waiting! (and they are SO good) He opened some presents from Aunt Belva and Uncle James and from his Grandma Harmon. Of course everything was a hit!

We met Uncle Todd, Aunt LeeAnn, and cousin Samantha at the park on Tuesday afternoon and they had gifts waiting. An orange Herbie matchbox car was one of them and Luke was in heaven. I'll post more pics of the park soon, we had such a blast!

And last but certainly not least we had the big family party at Aunt Deb and Uncle Don's on the 4th! Luke was swamped with superhero gifts and cards and was thrilled with all of it to say the least!

My cousin Melanie made him a custom Spider-man cake and it was amazing! I think she totally missed her calling. But now she is one stop shopping, if you need an EEG brain-scan-thingy and a cool birthday cake---she is your gal! Thanks Mel for working so hard on his cake, you're awesome!!!

Notice there is a high speed chase in which Spider-man has shot a web down on the car to help the police car catch the bad guy. And Sand-man is making an appearance on the left side, watch out Spider-man!! What a cool cake!!

Thaddeus and Jackie, you ought to hire Mel to do your wedding cake. I would love to see what she would use to make the 2 of you for the top!! ;)
