DisneyMania

Alrighty, now Josie and Gabriel's room is done. We think it looks great. We used 4 different borders in there, 2 girlie ones and 2 boy ones; Princesses, Tinkerbell, Buzz Lightyear, and Nemo! We also have a Nemo valance and all my Disney movie lithographs all on top of the Disney Sonic Green paint that Michael and Kelly so masterfully did back in December. It looks cool. So now that Josie's room is ready, do you think it's time I put her in there? She is sleeping in the pack 'n play by my bed still. I just wasn't ready to give her up yet. Can you really blame me???
Gabriel is so into Buzz right now, when we put up that border he was so excited. He calls him "Buh by-year", it's the most adorable thing you have ever heard! Michael has him say it over and over again.
Know why I get to put up Princesses and Tinkerbell??? Because I HAVE A GIRL! (I am still not over it!) This is what Josie was supposed to wear to church last weekend until she decided to spit up all over it. The outfit is from Grandmom and WAY TOO CUTE!!!

And here's Daddy's girl all decked out in her big brothers' Raider gear: (yes Thad, she is still cute even wearing that!)

Superhero stud

Daddy decided long before we moved here that Luke and Kaden should have a Superhero room. While Mike was gone I found a whole lot of clearance Spiderman stuff, borders, wall stickers and accents. We started the process of decorating their room. Michael (with little help from me, I'm TOO short) put up 2 different Spiderman borders and they look great! The boys love it! We are currently putting up border in Gabriel/Josie's room. We have 2 walls done, hopefully we will get the other 2 done today. I will have pics of their room too.

It happened again!

Guess what? The toothfairy had to make another stop at the Harmon household. Last night Luke showed us how loose his bottom tooth was. He pushed it with his tongue, I wiggled for a while, then Dad came in and tried for 2 seconds and out the tooth came! Luke was very excited. They have a tooth chart at school and one of his classmates lost her tooth on Monday so Luke was very excited to go to school this morning and tell his class!!

Mouth Milestone

Big News: JOSIE has her 2 middle bottom teeth coming in! They are barely there but you can just see and feel them. I have been looking and waiting and I discovered them last night. SHE IS GROWING UP TOO QUICKLY!!!!!!! I tried in vain to get a photo of her teeth:But after a while of me trying this happened:So I stopped. (I can hear you Momma.) Pics of the teeth will come later, promise. Big night for my sweet angel girl.

Adorable or Pathetic?

(Thaddeus---you don't get to answer.) I think Flash looks adorable! She doesn't really like having the jersey on though, and NO it's not because it's Raiders, Flash wouldn't want ANY clothes on. You should have heard the howls coming out of her so we would take it off. It was on long enough to get the pics, I guess that was long enough. Sweet Flash, we love you so.

Futbol anyone?

Silly team picture:

Luke has started playing soccer through our church. The organization is called Upward Sports and I first heard of it because my cousins have played through it. It is a wonderful, wonderful group!
Upward is an evangelistic sports ministry specifically designed for kindergarten through sixth grade boys and girls that promotes salvation, character, and self-esteem in every child. (taken from their website)

The kids practice for one hour a week and then have a one hour game a week, that is very doable for a family of 6 trying to keep sane! The players are screened so they can divvy up the teams as evenly as possible. Every kiddo gets the same amount of playing time. I am praying that this will lay foundation for Luke so that he is a good sport. I am hoping that he learns how to play on a team and he will be able to always encourage his teammates. He is doing great so far! We are so proud of him. He has really picked up soccer quickly I think. He loves running out there and he is always cheering for his Rams! In the first game he scored 4 goals in the first half so in the second Coach Kyle kept him on defense and he did great! Uncle Thad I wish so much you could see him play---you would LOVE it! We will have to tape a game for you!

At practice:

Taking on the defenders by his lonesome:

Yeah for Luke!! Check out those shoes, Daddy LOVES those cleats!!

Family Visit

Last weekend Michael's Mom and Grandma came to visit. We had such a wonderful time. The boys thoroughly enjoyed having their Grandma's around and the Grandma's thoroughly enjoyed having Josie around! Not to say they didn't appreciate the boys but they too waited a long time for our family to be blessed with a sweet baby girl. This was the first time for Great Grandma to meet Ms. Josie and she made quite an impression, Grandma didn't really want to put her down! Michael and I got a date night thanks to the Grandmas, and they both got a night out with Michael sans kiddos which was great for the 3 of them! (plus I got chocolate mousse cake out of it, so it was great for me too :)
Thanks so much Grandma and Mom for making the drive here to see us, it was great!

Pulled

Okay, now that I have FULLY covered the San Antonio trip (note the last 4 posts) I now need to do some catch up. Here goes a quick one. On the day that Michael came home, Sept 4th, Luke had to get one of his front teeth pulled. Yep, poor guy. While playing catch in St. Louis with my cousin, Luke took a baseball in the face and his tooth subsequently died. It turned gray (kinda gross actually), you might have noticed in the pics. He did an AMAZING job at the dentist. I didn't tell him they were going to pull his tooth (they advised me not too as did my Mom-in-law) and they didn't even tell him. They hooked him up to laughing gas right when we got there, gave him a couple of shots of Novocaine, which made him cry bless his heart, and the dentist came in and pulled it out in about 2 seconds. It was over quickly and Luke did great! I was so proud of him. It bled a little and he didn't like that too much, but got over it all quickly as we went to play with friends and then pick up Daddy. So here are his before and after photos. Luke was able to choose 3 things from the dentist's toy basket and went with these rings. Bling bling baby!!!

SeaWorld, again!

I promise that these are the last installments of our SeaWorld photos. I have so many other things to blog about, some adorable pictures to share that don't involve any marine life or even water!
To sum things up: we visited the dolphins in their pool, that was so much fun to watch them swim right by you!! (that's Luke in the pic)
The boys waiting for the sea lion show to start:Kaden-man was sitting with me before the show and was pretty tuckered by this point, note the yawn!

After the show we went back and feed the sea lions in their pool. The 3 boys and I each had a turn, pretty fun!
At the play park. This is the only place I could get pics without climbing up with them and that's why they are all basically the same.

Riding some of the kiddo rides, very cute, very fun. (Kaden wasn't really upset, he was tired, this photo of him is too adorable!)
My sweet baby girl was an angel the WHOLE day!
Bye bye SeaWorld, thank you Anheuser-Busch, we will see you next year :)

We had such a fun-filled day, Gabriel barely made it out of the parking lot!
