Day 7 and real time stuff!

Hey all! Day 7 of our cruise was another day at sea as we sailed back up to the Bahamas. We hardly took any pictures so I figured I would catch up real quick with what is going on here. We are currently in day 2 of closings! We had an ice storm that started on Monday late morning. We picked up Luke early from school, it was suggested by the district. School was cancelled yesterday and today. Michael was let off of work early Monday and didn't have to go yesterday! We had a fun day at home together. Today Michael has to be in by 11. Church has been cancelled for tonight as well. The bad weather has stopped and it's warming up here. Should be in the 50's tomorrow. That is good!
Luke has started Upward Basketball. (Kaden is very disappointed, he wants to play but it's for 1st-3rd). Luke is by far the SMALLEST one on his team but he is doing a good job. It's hard for him to score because they can't lower the baskets in our church gym (hence no Kindergartners). His coach is wonderful. Is really great with the kids and is pretty close to a Quinn Synder look-alike! (especially the HAIR!!!) The first game was last Saturday and the kids did great. It will be a fun season!
We signed up all 3 boys for baseball this year! AHHHH! I don't know how we are going to pull this one off! I sure hope we make some quick friends that can help us get our boys to practices... I'll keep you updated. Kaden is playing with his same coach from last year! I'm thrilled about that! Luke has moved up to 7 year old machine pitch. He is SO excited!! He is dead set on being a switch hitter. I keep telling him it is extremely hard to do that and he replies matter-of-factly "Aaron Miles does it. I can too." So, there you go. Michael and I think seeing Gabriel in a uniform will be too adorable. Baseball should start in Feb/March.
Alrighty, onto the cruise. Day at sea. We spent this day sleeping in first of all. Afterwards we headed up to the very 'top' and played miniature golf. It was super fun and pretty windy. I lost. I lost bad. Michael was very proud of himself:

We decided to splurge on dessert today. There was a coffee bar that had this humongous cakes for $2 a slice. I ordered Fat Chocolate Cake:

Michael had Black Forest Cake:

Tried as we could, we just could not finish them. But it was a valiant effort. They were beyond delicious!!!!

Another AWESOME thing we did was "On Deck for a Cure". Carnival has started doing a breast cancer walk on their ships. I think that is just incredible! For $10 you signed up, received a t-shirt and pink bracelet. So at 4 pm we joined about 100-200 others and walked a mile around the track. Felt good to give something back while on vacation!!

And here was our Friday night animal. Again, we aren't sure what to make of this one...

That night we had a Beatles show and it was wonderful. We had the best time singing along with all the songs. By far the best performance on the cruise! The next day was our last day. Nassau, Bahamas.

Holy Moly!!! Those desserts look so amazing. I'm sure they are diabetes inducing. :(
