Day at Sea

Sunday was a relaxing day at sea with our first formal night of the cruise. We started the day off right. This was our view from breakfast (yes, through a window):
Not too bad. We spent most of the day walking around the ship, playing trivia/taboo, and lounging by the pools. Here's Mike at the casino bar:
Waiting for our movie theme trivia to start. Oh, we won by-the-way :)
Here is a view of our room.
I know that it's small but we didn't care in the least. I don't need a porthole to look out of. I am happy in my dark inner cabin (and the 100s of dollars it saved me :) Here's our big bad bathroom:
We sat in the hot tub and watched some NFL playoffs. That was pretty comfy. We were sitting with a bunch of Canadians and some French people that pretty much didn't have a clue about football. They thought Michael was a genius :) We took a pic of Howie on the big screen. (Go Raiders!!!)
These are pictures from the dining room the night before. Poor pirate man had to go to every single person in the room for a photo. Ours were pretty funny:Formal night! Michael brought his mess dress and looked quite awesome! He was getting all kinds of looks. Like I blogged before, he was getting lots of compliments and thanks even though people weren't even sure what country he served in! Here we are in a lounge waiting for the captain to arrive. Self-portrait:A sweet man came over and offered to take our picture for us. Later in the dining room we realized he just happened to be sit at the table next to us! He had the bar waiter get us some drinks. He was very proud of Michael and kept making a fuss over him. It was pretty wonderful to see how people love our military!Michael and I waiting for our midnight comedian:
Here is our towel animal from this day. Super cute:
The next day was Puerto Rico . . . stay tuned.
